The hotel has a great location that's quiet yet just a short walk to the town center, which I really appreciated. The room itself was fine but felt a bit dated and darker than I expected due to the purple decor. Service was mostly good, though I did experience some moodiness from staff. Overall, it was a decent stay, but there were a few things that could be improved.

Rooms
6.0
The room was okay but looked a bit dated and had some stained carpets. The stairs between the sitting area and bed could be tricky for some, but I managed fine. It was also somewhat dark due to the decor.
Service
7.0
The service was a mixed bag; some staff were attentive and helpful, while others seemed a bit moody. They did speak enough English when I struggled with my French, which was appreciated.
Location
9.0
The location was excellent for my needs, being quiet but only a few minutes' walk to the town center. It made for nice strolls after dinner, and I liked the nearby parking.
Dining
7.0
Dining was adequate and reasonably priced. While breakfast costs were slightly unclear, the selection was good with plenty of fresh items, so I felt satisfied overall.
Facilities
7.0
I didn't use many facilities, but everything seemed well-maintained and available for use, creating a pleasant atmosphere.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel; it had a charming location in a quiet part of town but just a short stroll from the center. The rooms were decent, although a bit dark due to overlooking a narrow street. The staff, especially the woman in the breakfast area, was friendly, but overall, service could use some improvement. The breakfast options were somewhat limited and a bit pricey for what was offered.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms were reasonable, clean, and adequate, but they lacked natural light since they overlooked a narrow side street. The stairs from the sitting area to the bed could be tricky for those not as agile.
Service
6.0
The service was hit or miss; most staff members weren't very friendly, but the lady handling breakfast was accommodating and found us a table with ease.
Location
9.0
The hotel is in a great spot; it's centrally located in a charming town, quiet yet just a few minutes' walk from the town center and nearby attractions.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast was standard continental-style but a bit pricey at 9€ each. Although the food was decent, I wish there were more options available.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities were basic but satisfactory; nothing extraordinary stood out, but it met our needs.

6.0/10

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. While the service was polite and helpful and the location was convenient for exploring the town, the rooms left much to be desired with their small size and unpleasant odor. The dining options were also a bit limited for the price, which felt excessive for what was offered.

Rooms
5.0
The rooms were too small for my liking and had a bit of a bad smell that didn't go away, even with the windows open. The pillows were very hard, and I didn't receive fresh towels despite requesting them.
Service
7.0
The staff was mostly polite and accommodating, helping me correct my invoice from my online booking. However, one lady in the breakfast room wasn't particularly friendly.
Location
8.0
The location is great for walking into town, just 90 minutes from Cherbourg. It also had some parking available, which was a plus.
Dining
5.0
The breakfast was a typical continental style, but I found the options a bit lacking. Given the price of 9 € each per day, I expected a bit more variety.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel had a few nice amenities, but overall, it could use some redecoration to improve the aesthetics.

I had a lovely stay at this hotel. The location was excellent, just a short stroll to the town center, which made sightseeing a breeze. The rooms were spacious and clean, but the lack of natural light was a bit of a downside. The staff were friendly and helpful, although we did have an issue with our invoice. Overall, it was a comfortable experience at a reasonable price.

Rooms

The mezzanine bedroom was spacious and clean, making for a comfortable stay. However, the room overlooked a narrow side street, resulting in limited natural light.
Service

The staff were friendly and very helpful, especially when it came to correcting our invoice. They spoke enough English to assist me when I struggled with French.

The dining experience was decent, with self-service breakfast options available. While it wasn’t the most extensive selection, it was adequate and reasonably priced.

The hotel is ideally located for sightseeing, sitting right in the town center and only 90 minutes from Cherbourg. While I appreciated the convenience, the lingering cigarette smoke in the room was quite bothersome and impacted my sleep. The facilities could definitely use some upgrades, but finding a table for our family was easy. Overall, it's a decent option for an overnight stop, but it has its quirks.

Rooms
5.0
Unfortunately, the rooms had a lingering smell of cigarette smoke that made it hard to sleep. The mezzanine setup with stairs to the upper bed wasn't safe for young children, which was a concern for us.
Service
7.0
When we arrived, there was a little disorganization in correcting our invoice from the online booking, but once it was sorted out, the staff were helpful in finding us a table for our family.
Location
9.0
The location is perfect for walking into town and exploring. It's also a great starting point for attractions in the area, which I really enjoyed.
Dining
6.0
Dining had its ups and downs. There was too much queuing and not enough variety, but I did enjoy some delicious dishes. The pricing was a bit confusing at times.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities felt like they could benefit from some redecoration, but they were sufficient for our needs during the stay.
